Welcome Neal Pawsat to the Team

WISEcode Labs is excited to announce that Neal Pawsat, CPA has joined the company as VP, Finance & Accounting. Neal brings more than a decade of finance, accounting, and strategic advisory experience from some of the most respected names in industry and professional services.

Strategic Finance Leadership

As VP, Finance & Accounting, Neal will oversee Beaconpoint Labs’ financial strategy, governance, and operations as the company continues to scale its third-party testing services. He will partner closely with leadership across the business to support growth initiatives, strengthen financial reporting, and build the systems and processes needed for the company’s next chapter.

A Track Record of Driving Results

Neal joins WISEcode Labs from Honeywell, where he most recently served as Senior Finance Manager for Corporate Functional Finance. In that role, he advised C-suite leaders across more than a dozen corporate functions and built a bottoms-up forecasting model used to support spin-offs, M&A, and organizational change.

Earlier in his career, Neal was a Finance Manager at Amazon supporting the Devices and Services business, where he led financial analyses that strengthened controllership and preserved company margins. Before Amazon, he spent six years at Deloitte and KPMG advising Fortune 200 and Fortune 250 insurance and financial institution clients on transformational accounting standards, large-scale audits, and global GAAP and IFRS implementations across 11 countries.

Credentials and Education

Neal is a Licensed CPA in North Carolina. He earned his Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, passing all four CPA exams before graduation and serving as a Teaching Assistant for Dr. C.J. Skender. He also holds a B.S. in Business Finance and Economics from Georgetown College, where he graduated Cum Laude and was a four-year starting quarterback.

A Little Beyond the Resume

Born and raised in Maysville, Kentucky, Neal returned to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2024 after living in cities across the country. When he’s not at work, he enjoys live music, exploring new restaurants, and taking long walks through the city with his Golden Retriever, Frank. He is also an avid runner who has completed the 2017 & 2025 Charlotte Marathons and the 2019 Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati.
